For Admission M.E/M.Tech in Thermal Engineering the candidate should have B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Mechatronics/ Marine/ Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with minimum 60% of marks and a valid GATE score.
Some institutes have their own entrance exams like TANCET exam for Anna University, Chennai.
