AGC NEST 2023 SCHOLARSHIP & ENTRANCE TEST

Overview :

Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC), being commenced in 2002, has obtained the 2000 Certification by ISO 9001 in the year 2003. AGC has become a pioneer of world-class education for 16 years. The campus is spread over more than 16 acres of land, comprising of various colleges viz. Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology, Amritsar College of Law, and Amritsar College of Pharmacy. The whole of the campus has culminated into a well structured and well-planned complex, giving the disciples an intellectual stimulation through its grace and grandeur. Located 12 km from Amritsar near Manawala, AGC is the hub of education and a zone of academic excellence, imparting education and promoting research in the engineering and technology especially in B. Tech and moreover in the medical or the studies of law enactment.

Eligibility :

At AGC, the admission to the following courses (for the session 2023) is based on AGC NEST (National Entrance Scholarship Exam) offering the scholarship upto Rs. 1.5 Lac.

B. Tech(ME/CE/EE/CSE)
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B. HMCT)
B. A. (Journalism & Mass Communication)
B. Sc. Fashion Design
B. Sc. (Honors) Agriculture
Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) (Honors)
B. Sc. Medical Lab Sciences

Admission to B. Voc Courses i.e. B. Voc. (Hospitality & Catering Management / Automobile Servicing / Software Development) and D. Pharmacy is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary i.e. 12th class. There will be “No Entrance Exam” for these courses but a candidate has to register online.
To take admission in B.Tech-LEET / B.Pharmacy-LEET / BCA-LEET / BBA-LEET / B.Sc.Medical Lab.Sciences-LEET, the marks obtained in previously completed Diploma will be considered. No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
For M.HMCT/M.Tech (CSE/ECE/CE/ME), MCA, MBA ,M.Sc admission is based on the marks obtained in the graduation degree. No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
For ODL (Open & Distance Learning) Programs, the registration at www.agcnest.in is mandatory. No Entrance Exam is required.
For BA LLB , LLB admission is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary i.e. 12th class. No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
